Advanced MES Installation
Create an ODBC Data Source
Login to the PC as the user.
Find ODBC Data Sources (32-Bit) for a 64-bit OS and run as Administrator.
Select System DSN > Add > SQL Server > Finish.
Name as Mattec_ProHelp, anything for Description, server as fpl-sql-03.
Next, check “With Windows NT authentication using the network login ID.”
Change the default database to MATTEC_PROHELP.
Proceed through accepting default vales, and Test Data Source.
Install the Client Software
Run ProHelpClient in \\fpl-ssp-01\SW_Mast\Mattec Prohelp Crystal as Administrator.
Select Local Client and proceed until Finished.
System Names Edit
System Names Edit installs with the client. Find in Start Menu, run as Administrator.
Enter password Cettam@1301
Will say “The SystemNames file does not exist.”
System Number is 1, and something appropriate for Description, server as fpl-sql-03.
For the Database/ODBC DSN, as point 4 above (Mattec_ProHelp)
‘Sys’ Directory is \\fpl-sql-03\ProHelp\Sys. Save, Exit.
Install Crystal Reports
Run Setup.exe located in \\fpl-ssp-01\SW_Mast\Mattec Prohelp Crystal\Crystal Reports XI\Crystal Reports XI as Administrator.
Answer dialogues, Finish.
Access rights
Log into fpl-sql-03 as administrator and “Edit local users and groups”.
Under “Groups,” add users in “MATTEC System Administrator.”
